Fletcher and Harveys

This week is Stem Cell research week… so was last week, so will the next 6 months probably… anyway, with number 2 on the way we are looking at the options for banking the cord blood… seems like there’s 3 private banks, cellsense, cyrosite and another… all roughly priced the same but it seems only one is actually TGA approved (who knew…) so much to read, so much to google. So this obviously raised a couple of questions for us as there’s a fair bit of research in this field, not the least of which is can we use stem cells from a sibling to treat another sibling, can the stem cells be taking overseas for an operation there should australia be lagging in the field…

Lots of unknowns, lots of questions, little answers… so we shall see where we end up…

Well it’s been a while hasn’t it… so what’s new…. well this blog will likely change from Fletchers… to Fletchers and …. (oh the joy of coming up with a new name… I wanted Jakara (well that was off Pimp my Ride), then Klohe, I’m sure we’ll come up with something.

So Xmas has been and gone, Fletcher did alright, trains, paint, play do(sp?), bongos, radio controlled cars (well cheap ones he can get his hands on) and all the rest. For those who gave cash, it’s going towards getting him his first bike and the necessary conversion so he can use one.

Hope everyone had a good xmas and new years too, I’ll do a video and post it sometime soon (i.e. probably in a week or so).

Kristina seems to be feeling better, haven’t noticed her walking around with the bucket 24/7 so things are on the improve….
